Fireman's Prayer (9/11)

I made this as a tribute to firefighters everywhere, but particularly as a tribute to those brave souls who gave their lives to help others on 11th September, 2001. The Fireman's Prayer has several minor variations, but I chose this version as I think it is the most fitting. There are exactly 343 stars - one for each firefighter who died. The final stitch was put in place at 11:30pm on 11th September, 2002.

I am not sure yet exactly how to mount it or where it will end up ... I may well contact the local Fire Brigade and see if they would like to have it.
