We build Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) using Flex & Java technologies. Flex technology is a key part of our RIA technology platform. It enables us to engineer expressive, high performance RIAs.

Adobe Flex applications run in the the Adobe Flash Player, installed on over 800 million internet connected machines. Flex applications can also be deployed to the desktop using Adobe AIR, a technology predicted to be one of the technologies on the rise in 2008.

Although Flex applications run in the Flash Player it isn’t just about stunning visuals, Flex technology is built with consuming services in mind.

Using an agile and cost-effective service oriented architecture to supply services to a Flex RIA is a really powerful combination. The productivity, scalability & reliability of Java Enterprise Edition technology makes it the ideal choice for implementing these services.

We like open source so we use Apache Tomcat or the JBoss Application Server to host the Java services and the MySQL database.
