The Yumbo center really is the heart of Gay Gran Canaria, as you can see from the map below it has a huge selection of both strictly gay and gay friendly bars and restaurants. This is where the main celebrations of the Mardi Gras (the show) takes place. During the day it’s quiet here but in the night its a bustling center where you can should you wish walk round hand in hand with your partner.
It’s really as good as it sounds and really has to be part of your trip, if not the center of your trip to
the island.
