The are hundreds of gay and straight bars in Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas that are all very good but obviously the is only so many we visited. So here are the bars we enjoyed most, somewhere for you to start so to speak if the mood takes you.

Inside the Yumbo
Bar Ibiza-Ground floor Yumbo center
This is a small trendy bar, run by very friendly blokes. The place is clean the beer is good and the atmosphere is always very friendly. The staff take time out to get to know you and always say hello even when you are just walking past. A good point to start for anyone.
Toby’s bar-Ground floor Yumbo center
This place is set up as a welsh bar and serves carling. Which was great for me as I did not find anywhere else selling it. They have shows every night and again the staff are extremely friendly.
Dolly’s bar-Ground floor Yumbo center
As the name suggest a themed bar set on Dolly Parton and many other country and western singers. They serve great cocktails frequently on offer like buy one get one free and the staff were very friendly. It is easy to walk past this bar as it is tucked away in the corner but this works well meaning it is busy but not to busy.
Spartacus - Ground floor Yumbo Center
A home form home bar, always busy serving great cocktails and has just got a relaxing but upbeat atmosphere. You’ve got to go here even if just to look at the pictures in the toilets!!!
Diamonds-Ground floor Yumbo Center
A no attitude friendly relaxed bar, I believe it mainly catered for families but still worth a visit.
Ricky’s cabaret bar-Ground floor Yumbo center
A must visit at least once especially if you enjoy a bit of Karaoke or a cabaret show. Great service from the staff who wait your tables and a great show every time we were there. The beer tasted great and we met people from all over the world there.
Latino bar-Ground floor Yumbo center
A nice relaxing bar, great service and well just a nice time to be honest.
Away from the Yumbo (not gay)
The randy Leprechaun- Near the Yumbo center
A great little Irish bar as the name suggests. We visited here and had a great time. The beer was nice and the staff here were amazing. It was a real pleasure and with frequent entertainment and drinks offers its a must go and also a break from the Yumbo.
Crazy Harry’s bar - Avda. de Tirajana(below liberty apt.)
This was great, when you are abroad the prices are always great but this place beat the lot-price wise, their drinks offers are good value and the staff friendly. They also have sky TV and a great selection of value snacks.
Tattoo bar - Peurto Mogan
A British run bar, it was great here. The place was tidy, staff friendly and the beer was good as well. And if it takes your fancy you can have your tattoo done while your there.
