We went with Thompson who offer their customers as you may know, a large selection of excursions like most companies, which were great, if you don’t mind traveling with kids etc.

Gay Catamaran trip-Every Friday

An exclusively gay trip which includes in its price a hot buffet lunch and as much beer, sangria or should I even bother adding soft drinks as you like. Includes a free banana boat ride and other water sports are available. They add that you will have plenty of time to swim and “snorkel”

Gay Quad Safari-daily

You will first be instructed on using the quads before being taken out in a small group to drive like fools. During the course of the trip you’ll stop at the Ayagaures reservoir for lunch and the views before heading back to Playa del Ingles for coffee and. .....now this bit makes me laugh, cake. (I did’nt think anyone still did that). The tour takes about three and half hours and includes insurance, hotel transfer, equipment and refreshments.

THE BEACH

Wanna just spend the day on the beach in the heat then visit the gay or nudist beach(the later is a good laugh mind!!) From either Playa del Ingles beach or the beach at Maspalomas walk along the shore till you come to hut number seven, its the one with the rainbow flag. Now you are here chill on the loungers with a backdrop of the dunes. Tis nice I can tell you.

Shopping and Puerto Mogan

If you are bargain hunting then Gran Canaria is the place for you, everywhere the are shops, those of us that like shopping around and getting a bargain will be in heaven.
