St. Andrew's with Castle Gate United Reformed Church
The Christian Education Committee supports the minister in planning and preparing themes for
study by our House Groups. It also works to arrange special
series of Sunday evening services on particular themes by inviting outside speakers.
These services are generally followed by coffee and discussion. Some of the more recent
themes have included "Issues of Justice" with speakers including a former Prison Governor,
"Religious Education in Schools", "The future of the URC" and relationships with Islam.
