Jack Petchey Achievement Awards

Colfeian Girls' Cricket Club is proud to participate in the Jack Petchey Foundation's Achievement Awards Scheme.

As members of the scheme since July 2008, the club already has two winners who have each had the pleasure
and responsibility of deciding how to spend grants on club projects.

In August 2008, Mike Askew of Hayes Cricket Club kindly presented Grace Gibbs and Maddie Parish
with a cheque for £300 each and a framed certificate to commemorate their awards.

Both girls, plus their families and the first two of 2009's winners, will be going to a special presentation ceremony
in July 2009.

Any club member or associate - player, coach or parent - may nominate a player for the next award. Nominations should be for girls aged between 11 and 25 who have not previously won the award and who have made an essential contribution to the club. You can click on Internal nomination form to print a form. Completed forms may be handed in at any training session or match.
