My Previous Workshop
and my Coronet Consort
Back in 1983 I set up with the Coronet Consort range of combination machinery
but I sold them all, much to my regret, when I moved into a larger workshop and
bought larger individual machines. I thought that I had progressed
but I missed the accuracy of these small powerful machines.
I also at this time used Arundel Lathes. Starting with an Arundel M230
and progressing through with the K450 and K600. I also had at one time an
Arundel E5 bowl turning head.

| The Consort saw table with a 4 inch sanding belt
attached. The planer/thicknessor was actually the integral
Sovereign. An excellent little planer. It had an extension
to the table making it 22.1/2 inch - ideal for jointing. |
The slot mortiser attachment was very beefy. |

| The Coronet Imp bandsaw. Beautiful machine, it had
3 speeds. Bit bulky for my workshop now, |
My Arundel M230 Lathe. |
