THE NEW CRUSADERS

The escalating conflict between Israel and the Arabs brought some thoughts again on the root cause of this issue.

In 1998, three years before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, Osama Bin Laden and his Deputy, Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahiri, launched a ‘Holy War’ against 'Jews' and 'Crusaders' (Declaration of the World Islamic Front for Jihad Against the Jews and the Crusaders). They called upon all Muslims to attack and kill Americans and their allies “until the Aqsa Mosque (in Jerusalem) and the Haram Mosque (in Mecca) are freed from their grip.”

An anti-Christian streak is obvious. And in the case of Al-Zawahiri, this specifically included the Copts (Christians) of Egypt.

It is well-known that Ayman al Zawahiri is an Egyptian. According to the FBI, “Al-Zawahiri (aliases: Abu Muhammad, Abu Fatima, Muhammad Ibrahim, Abu Abdallah, Abu al-Mu'iz, The Doctor, The Teacher, Nur, Ustaz, Abu Mohammed, Abu Mohammed Nur al-Deen, Abdel Muaz, Dr. Ayman al Zawahiri) is a physician and the founder of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad. This organization opposes the secular Egyptian Government and seeks its overthrow through violent means. Al-Zawahiri is believed to now serve as an advisor and doctor to Usama Bin Laden and is currently thought to be in Afghanistan.” When he was only 14, Al-Zawahiri became a member of the radical Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt (founded by Hassan Al Banna in 1928). Later he was to found the Islamic Jihad. Both the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamic Jihad strongly opposed the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. In 1998 Al-Zawahiri joined forces with Bin Laden’s Al-Qaeda.

I have previously pointed out (see my article ‘Satan’s Calling Card” See here) that there could be a link between the Al-Qaeda 11th September 2001 attacks on the USA and the aborted Peace Treaty of Sharm-El-Sheikh signed on the 4th September 1999 but made "effective" one week later i.e. the 11th September 1999. This treaty was supposedly to have a two-year implementation period up to the 11th September 2001. I also previously drew attention that in 1999 the 11th September fell on Rosh Hoshanah, the Jewish New Year. 11th September is also the (Egyptian) Coptic New Year also known at the ‘Day of the Martyrs’ (although for the Copts 1999 was taken as a ‘leap year’, making the Coptic New Year the 12th September). I also drew attention that 11th September 1941 was the date of the ‘ground breaking’ ceremony for the Pentagon, one of the targets of the 11th September 2001 attacks, the other ‘target’ being the twin-towers of the World Trade Centre in New York. The mere mention of ‘two towers and a pentagon’ to anyone familiar with Masonic symbolism and lore immediately evokes the idea of ‘The Temple of Solomon’ and, by extension, the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. The Temple of Solomon figures prominently in Freemasonry and, more especially, in 33rd Degree Freemasonry (Scottish Rite). The two US Presidents who were members of the Scottish Rite Freemasonry were Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman, both of whom were directly active in the events that led to the ‘creation’ of the State of Israel in 1948. The fact that George W. Bush took his presidential oath on a Masonic bible must have fortified the belief of Islamic Jihad and Al-Qaeda that the US is leading a ‘Crusade’ against Islam and its holy places. This well-explains the bizarre terminology used by Al-Zawahiri and Bin Laden who, in their Jihad Declaration, identify the ‘Crusaders’ with ‘Americans’ and call for liberation of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from their grip. It must also compel us to see a link between the 11th September 2001 ‘targets’ i.e. twin-towers and Pentagon in the USA and the ‘Temple of Solomon’ in Jerusalem.

Until we all understand that the root cause of Islamic terrorism is the Israeli 1967 occupation of Jerusalem (and consequently the Al-Aqsa Mosque), and until we all confront this issue, there will be no real peace in the Middle East.
