Estimated Performance
The following graph shows the potential performance
of our new funny bike.
It is arrived at by using a computer simulation program called STRIPTUNE this
software is designed , manufactured and distributed by fellow drag bike
racer CHRIS HALL.
This software allows you to input as much data as you can about the vehicle, track and
atmospheric conditions, and then after specifying the parameters, it will simulate a run
down the drag strip and provide you with a graph like the one below.
Is it accurate ? well it calculated our old bikes performance to within .04 ( four
hundredths)of a second.
lets hope it is right this time as well.
