The title track here is another piece I could listen to repeatedly and enjoy it more - rather than getting bored. It was recorded well after post-punk funk, so Osby has no place in the source of PPF. Whether he had heard any or not I don’t know. He would probably have heard and even known the jazz guitarist who came over to play with our (UK’s) PPFers whose name escapes me at the moment. When it comes I will add it in. Anyway, it is again a combination of the free jazz and the funk energies and is a stormer!
