What are a sartorially challenged disco band doing on a PPF website? This particular BT Express track illustrates my shared groove/phrase theory with the single string guitar playing the first 4.5 beats, rhythm guitar playing 2 and the

bass playing 2 beats (slight overlap) of the lead groove phrase. Please note also that there are two guitars playing slightly differently to enhance the groove.  This is a “simple” (good funk is never simple) track, an understanding of which will lead to a greater understanding of the greater complexity in JB and the JBs
