Sim News

simulations

Welcome to our flight simulations page, here we will have pictures of our projects as

they progress so that you can see for yourself how things are looking.

Our aim is to create the most realistic aircraft, for this reason we currently only use the

X-Plane software.

This is simulator is among several that are writtenby Austin Meyer (www.x-plane.com).

X-Plane is a far superior simulator than Microsoft's one in our opinion.

This is because X-plane actualy simulates how the aircraft performs and does not use a

table (a set of fixed information telling the program what a simulated aircraft will do) as

in the Microsoft FS2004 as stated in a Discovery program about flight simulators.

Also unlike FS2004 the shape of an aircraft changes how it flies, just as in real life.

We have flown test models in FS2004 which were huge square blocks and they could be

flown perfectly, thereby proving that in FS2004 the aircraft shape as seen in the simulator

has no effect on how it flies!!

In the future we will be producing new aircraft with virtual internal cockpits, but this will not

happen until we have finished the current projects (see news pages).
