2005 FS Show

Here are some pictures from our trip to the

Bristol Flight Simulation Show 2005

Our modular center console prototype,

fitted with the collective module.

Bob Sidwick of RC Simulations invited us to attend the show on October 15th and to quote Wallace "it was a cracking day out Gromit!"

We could be found in the simulation room alongside our friends at Seagull Simulations and were proudly demonstarting our Eurocopter AS355N model for X-Plane 8 which is in use by the Metroplitan Police.

Due to space limitations we had to run with a Matrox Perihelia triple head display system with a dedicated instrument panel screen and a master machine running all the ex-military equipment.

Connected to this was our modular console prototype and converted controls from a Westland Lynx and a Black hawk helicopter.

Garmin UK were of kind assistance in hooking up a GPS430 unit to the simulator to show what real world equipment can be run from X-Plane,

Many people thought it was a simulated unit at first until we corrected them on that fact, after all how often do you get to see real equipment at a simulation show?

At the end of the day both Kevin and Fraser were tired but both agreed that it was a cracking day for all, with the bonus that many people had seen the capabilities of X-Plane over the other alternatives.
