Dear all, It was the Beeb who got it wrong. They decide to re-schedule the programme for one week later. In answer to the query - Auntie Beeb paid for the ice creams - yes, I had two!. The "Red Coat" job starts on Saturday Ho Ho Ho.

Who got it wrong?, was it Colin or Auntie Beeb?, never mind all in the past now, I'm sure we all tuned in on the previous week and thought "hello have I missed it" but no, one week later there he was, bold as brass, who paid for the 99's Colin? you or the Beeb. Well done that man.

Gala night Table Wines.

As members appreciate all wines on the tables for the gala luncheon were previously paid out of the Raffle proceeds . . The time has come when the wine prices exceed the total raffle income and have been subsidised to a great extent from general funds, so members who do not attend the AGM and non wine drinkers also subsidise this . . The Committee have decided that this year no wines will be supplied to tables . . Hotels will be very pleased to sell you wine at £15 a bottle (we could no doubt get a small discount), bringing your own wine is not looked on favourably by the Hotel (a corking charge would be made that will be the same price as a bottle of wine £15) . . Those of you that have "Hip Flasks" fill up prior to the lunch(?).

Time is now running short to book your Xmas lunch . . Hotels are now requesting final numbers of guests . . If you have not yet booked to any of the lunches, please contact, ROY, DAVE, FRED ASAP . . Ta ever so.
