Scams (Phishing).

Members are to be aware of current scams "doing the rounds" . . These scams are supposedly from 'Big Five Banks' mainly HBOS and Alliance & Leicester requesting that you send your account details and PIN numbers plus any passwords to enable the bank to up-grade your details. they also ask you to click on the link address supplied, this will send your details to whoever is running this scam.

Banks never ask you to reveal your account or PIN details . . Delete the received message immediately.

Christmas Lunches.

Time is now running short to book your Xmas lunch . . Hotels are now requesting final numbers of guests . . If you have not yet booked to any of the lunches, please contact, ROY, DAVE, FRED ASAP . . Ta ever so.

Roy is quite concerned about the Postal strike with regards to cheques and bookings. Roy would appreciate it if you would contact him by phone on 01303 237997 to confirm your booking for the luncheon A.S.A.P, the Hotel require an approximate number, sooner rather than later.
