1980 SUZUKI

This web site has been put together for the purpose of showing the “restoration” of a Suzuki GS750E (UK Specification) manufactured in 1979.

Being a "leftover" or "non-current" model  since newer GSX range was already available. It remained unsold in a dealer's showroom  and eventually became first registered in 1980,Thus being  one of the last GS750 to be registered in this country. 

Its original owner had it from new for 20 years until 2000 and it subsequently had two more owners in as many years, Until I purchased it in July 2002.

I use the term Restoration lightly as the purists would argue that  to “restore” you need to put the motorcycles back to exactly as it was when it left the showroom, But this is not the actual case in this instance as the bike has some after market items fitted.
