A Walk along the Cliffs
From Redcar to Skinningrove.
What started as a walk along the Pink Path Takes me past
Cliffe House Marske ( 1844) former home of Joseph Pease
And alongside the Church remains of St. Germains
Past various 'Howles' towards Saltburn
Crossing stiles and farmland towards Huntcliffe
The first sight of Saltburn beach and the Pier
The Beach at this point is part pebbles-part sand
The old 'Ship Inn' haunt of local Smugglers
From above the Ship looking back towards Redcar.
