The beach is a very important attraction to those visiting Redcar.
The central area is flat clean and tidal,
The scars form a natural harbour offering much protection for the fishermen and pleasure boat users alike .

Along the Coast
Some of my personal favourites have been taken around Redcar, North Yorkshire where I live.
Redcar is a small resort of some 35,000 residents set midway between the mighty chemical and steel making industries of Teesside and the wild expances of the North Yorks Moors National Park.
The area boasts many miles of soft sandy beaches from Saltburn along past Marske and Redcar then terminating at the South Gare Lighthouse, Entrance to the bustling River Tees
