The Mamores

The Mamores are one of the best ranges in my opinion they from one huge long ridge with corries and ridges in abundance which are sadly lacking in many other ranges.  These hills form the gap between Glencoe and The Nevis range.  The Mamores are accessible from either side, you can start at Kinlochleven on the Glencoe side where the climbing is more hefty or you can start from Glen Nevis side which is my preferred route as Glen Nevis is some site.  Although dwarfed by the Nevis hills the Mamores actually are pretty big puppies.  Each of the walks in the Mamores is famous for something and each offers a classic walk wither its winter or summer.
