Whats a Munro?
A Munro is a Scottish mountain above 3000ft, 284 in total
throughout the country. A popular game among walkers is "Munro Bagging" i.e. climbing them all.
Scotland has great hill walking no matter what the height of the hill and boasts
some of the finest surroundings in Europe. The Munros are special though
and attract people from throughout the world so that they can "tick
off" a mountain in a book (strangely compelling !) The
current list of "Munroists" stands at over 3000, I shall add my name
to it one day!

What's
This Site About?
Well this site will be constantly updated as I climb the hills
showing you the route I took and the pictures I snapped along the way. You
can view past hills climbed by clicking Munro List above or check the news
section below for recent hills climbed. Scotland has some beautiful
landscapes so the best photos have been put together into a photo gallery
accessed by the menu above. Once your done please sign my guest book
