Glencoe HillsGlencoe... My favorite range housing the ever terrifying Aonach Eagach Ridge and the mountain that has been voted one of the best in Scotland ( in my opinion the best!) Buachaille Etive Mor. Driving up through Rannoch Moor with the speedometer going into triple figures ( cough cough limits 60 ) its easy to see why this hill is ranked in such a high position the view from the road is just fantastic. Another famous part of Glen Coe is the three sisters making up three extremely challenging climbs. Maybe I just have so much praise for this area since when I started on Glen Coe I camped out and had two days of amazing weather ( rare going by my experiences ) but I have no complaints. A good base for these hills is Kings House who offer free camping out the back of their hotel and allow you to enter their fine establishment looking like a scruff! Maybe as I do more ranges Glen Coe will be knocked off the top spot but its going to take some beating ! Just to let you know I'm saving Stob na Broige for my last Munro so that i can start and finish on the same hill !
