Well as of the 28th May 2006 Team Fiesta is no more... well it shall live it the rest of its days in Fife, BOO ! Team Fiesta has gained legendary status around these parts of its 4 year life span... and never once broke down got to be some sort of record there!  950 cc's of power came out this wee beast and could do 0-60 in a good couple of seconds (slight exaggeration but its my tribute I can say what I want !)

Early days of Team Fiesta i think this was the day I got it                   On location in Glencoe, what a ride !

Team Fiesta lead a rich and varied life but its heart belonged in flying up the A82 to the heelands !

Team Fiesta needed a good send off photo shoot                                               It certainly did !

The lack of power steering and a full set of wheel trims never stopped Team Fiesta being the King of the Road and always took her place among the big wigs of the road (she even took over a Lamborghini, I'm not kidding ! proudest moment of her life you see.
In her later life I felt Team Fiesta needed some slight alterations to keep her up to date with technology so que the pimping of the ride.  ( I don't mean big rims and a cheap bit of plastic stuck on the back to make it look like a surfaced whale...proper pimping...gadgets !), the full list was rather impressive...

  • Remote controlled engine start (this was awesome)

  • Remote controlled central locking

  • Electric Windows

  • Inbuilt minidisk player

  • Heated seats (from an land rover...gotta love the EBAY)

  • Automatic window wipers

  • Playstation ( yeh i got very bored)

  • DVD player

  • TV

  • GPS navigation system

  • LCD welcome message ("Welcome to Team Fiesta "...how good is that !)

  • The most unique security system ever (which I won't go into in detail as I'm pretty sure it wasn't legal haha)

  • Mood lighting (no joke)

  • In Car mini Fridge

Now I'm pretty sure you will agree there are not a lot of Fiesta around that do that ! hence why the car was such a legend and deserving of this page.

How many Fiestas can boast there own TV?                                            Isn't the baby sparkling?

See Team Fiesta serves all purposes                               One last photo for the send off

I feel now I will finish off with some classic moments of Team Fiesta life.

  • Euan you remember that time on the A82 where we saw all those neds broken down at the side of the road? We slow down to a stand still...who wouldn't help out a ned in need?  They come walking over to the car to the tune of " alright big man cheers were broken doon, motors packed in"  Since these were neds what should one do?  haha lets speed off leave them high and dry !   instant classic as we drove off to the tune of 5 of them giving us the two fingered salute....hehe love it !

  • That day after the last exam in 6th year and we seen how many people we could fit in Team Fiesta...I was dam impressed as we drive off with I counted 8 people and the exhaust actually scarping off the ground.

  • That time I let Alex and Greig drive it at Kingshouse and I cant mind who it was but someone nearly put it in a ditch haha, nutters !

  • Driving up to the hills with one of Alex's "Tunes for Team Fiesta" CD's each one made special for that journey, always good Alex has to be said !

  • Andy remember last winter we flew up the road to go climb some mountain and we seen that uber sunrise? stop the car and jump out to take some pics dropping my digicam right on the road...smash DOH!

  • Driving down to Newcastle and getting the Fiesta into triple figures ....never been so scared in my entire life !

  • That first ever walking trip remember it?  dump the soaking wet tent in the car as we couldn't be bothered folding it up and we had to drive the whole way home with the windows open as the car was reeking !!!

  • Ohhh a recent one neds decide to hit Team Fiesta with snowballs...im not having that so me cheekily notices a nice puddles next to where they are standing, pull a U turn pelt it back to where they were right through the puddle and you can imagine what happens next.

  • Ohh and on that same day (was a good day) the car had 3 ft of snow on top of it which I couldn't be bothered cleaning off these neds drive up behind and as neds do become irritating little gits.  So I bring Team Fiesta to a stand still on the middle of the road much to the anger of the neds behind me then I floor it!  Newton's law's I do believe say that snow has to go somewhere, right on top of the ned mobile ! I have never laughed so hard in my life !

Team Fiesta now has a new leader since my wee beauty has gone que Big mikes Wheels to proudly take over the throne of Team Fiesta official leader, do me proud son!

My prodigy do me proud ... or else !

So on yerself Team Fiesta do the bizzo down in Fife and become as much of a legend as you were up here !

LONG LIVE THE KING
