Lawers GroupThe Lawers group are a popular batch of hills and offer an exciting change to all Glaswegians i.e. the first batch of hills you don't have to drive up the A82 to get to well for me anyway. The visitor center marks the starting point for most of the hills on the region so paths can be expected to be wide enough to get a truck up! not the paths I enjoy walking on. These hills are best left for the winter as they collect a fair amount of the white stuff making the climb much more interesting. Like many other Munro Ranges in this area Killin without a doubt makes the best base housing many campsites and a youth hostel (handy for winter months) Munros in the Lawers Group:Meall Corranaich (Not Done Yet) Meall a' Choire Leith (Not Done Yet) Meall Greigh (Not Done Yet) Meall Garbh (Not Done Yet) Send mail to munromaster@munrobagging.co.uk with questions or comments about this web site. |
