The
Holocaust the name generally used to describe the genocide of
approximately six million European Jews during World War II, as part of a
program of deliberate extermination of the worlds Jewish population,
executed by the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (Nazi) regime led
by Adolf Hitler.
It is
a matter of fact and history that when Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces,
General Dwight Eisenhower, found the victims of the death camps, he
ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people
from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to
bury the dead. He did
this because he said in words to this effect: 'Get it all on record now -
get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the track of
history some b*stard will get up and say that this never happened'.
The photo below shows U.S.
solider surveying a German concentration camp. The photos were taken by
James Emison Chanslor, an Army Master Sergeant who served in World War II
from 1942 until 1945.
For those amongst you who think it was only Jews that
ended up in the death camps you would be so wrong. The German authorities of
that day
also targeted other groups because of their perceived "racial
inferiority": Roma (Gypsies), the disabled, and some of the Slavic peoples
(Poles, Russians, and others who were deemed sub human). Other groups were persecuted on political,
ideological, and behavioural grounds, among them Communists, Socialists,
Jehovah's Witnesses, and homosexuals. Children were not spared they also were sent to the death
camps see photos above.
Today, more than ever, with the BNP, Iran, and other
fools
claim the Holocaust to be 'a myth,' a Zionist plot??? It is imperative to make sure the
world never forgets what one madman with a nation behind him can achieve
against the human race.
The children of today who will be the adults of tomorrow must know the
truth so this can never happen to any race or religious group of people.
It is now more than 55
years after the Second World War in Europe ended. Today in the United
Kingdom the BNP is growing day
by day. Just think how the Holocaust came about in the first place!

In May of 2008 emails are being sent round
asking people to send it on with the above information. The only problem
is it is being used to grow hatred against a group of people of the Muslim
faith, the email reports:
In 2008 the UK allegedly The Holocaust is not
being used by some teachers because it 'offended' some of the Muslim
population which claims it never occurred.! This is a frightening portent
of the fear that is gripping the world and how easily each country is
giving in to it so not to offend other religions.
THE FACTS
13/06/08 The BBC Web site: E-mails are circulating, falsely
claiming the UK has banned schools from teaching pupils about the
Holocaust.
Link The report that may have given rise to the alarm
was commissioned by England's Department for Education and Skills from
the Historical Association, which promotes the study and teaching of
history. It said: "Teachers and schools avoid emotive and
controversial history for a variety of reasons, some of which are
well-intentioned.
"Staff may wish to avoid causing offence or
appearing insensitive to individuals or groups in their classes.
"In particular settings, teachers of history are
unwilling to challenge highly contentious or charged versions of history
in which pupils are steeped at home, in their community or in a place of
worship."
'Holocaust denial'
The report gave as an example a history department
in "a northern city" which "recently avoided selecting the Holocaust as
a topic for GCSE coursework for fear of confronting anti-Semitic
sentiment and Holocaust denial among some Muslim pupils".
The government said there was scope for schools to
make their own decisions on what to teach within England's national
curriculum.
A spokesman for England's
Department for Education and Skills added: "Teaching of the Holocaust is
already compulsory in schools at Key Stage 3 [ages 11 to 14].
"It will remain so in the new KS3 curriculum from
September 2008."
He said Education Secretary Alan Johnson himself
had stressed this.
There are separate national curriculums in Wales
and in Northern Ireland, and 5-14 Guidelines in Scotland. In those,
Holocaust teaching is not compulsory but schools may teach it if they
wish and this has not changed recently.
In Northern Ireland, for example, the Holocaust is
given as an example of some of the things pupils "should" study.
