We have a few examples below:

Advising clients on options for new organisational structures.
We worked with them to identify the drivers for change and strategic imperatives. We evaluated the effectiveness of current structures (including stakeholder views and expectations) and researched effective models fromsewhere.

We then presented a range of evaluated options together with a recommendation that was acted upon. Clients have included local councils, social services departments and NHS organisations

We have worked with a range of clients to introduce new behaviours and ways of working.

We have developed competency frameworks to reflect required behaviours and then designed assessment processes to assess staff against these resulting in tailored personal development plans, coaching individuals to support the development of new behaviours and dealing with staff who were not able to successfully make the transition.

Clients have included NHS Trusts, a County Council and Financial Services organisations.

We have coached individuals who are new to roles or experiencing transitions. We have worked with them to identify the objects of the coaching process, used diagnostic tools where necessary and set stretching goals for clients.

We provide a service to organisations and individuals seeking to develop career management strategies.   This can be for internal development purposes, as part of an outplacement programme or for individuals seeking career change.

We have worked with clients across a number of sectors to design bespoke and use leading edge assessments to ensure that they have the right talent for key roles and that it is deployed effectively.

We use a range of leading edge psychological instruments including Wave, OPQ, 16PF, Hogan (HPS & HDS) together with MBTI and FIRO-B.   We also design bespoke assessment centre activities to simulate real work situations that individuals may face.   Clients have included financial services, local and central government and NHS organisations

We have worked with clients to design a range of facilitation interventions for groups from 4 to 400. We are trained in a range of small and large group facilitation techniques and work closely with clients to establish key requirements.

We have worked with a number of clients to help them identify and develop key talent.   This has included developing talent management programmes, assessing career paths, developing graduate programmes, developing organisation-wide competency frameworks and coaching programmes.

Some of our clients have wanted to recruit individuals but not contract out the operation wholly to external agencies.   We have provided a resource for such clients.   Here we have:

  • worked with external agencies as an extension of the client and negotiated fees and evaluated candidates for them
  • Run the recruitment process on their behalf, drafting job descriptions and adverts, fielding candidates, assessing their suitability and supporting the final selection process
  • Provided detailed assessment of candidates for clients to be considered at final selection
Clients have included central and local government, NHS and financial services organisation

We have worked with clients to support them in handling complex employee relations situations.   Here our work has included:

  • Providing interim support to the organisation to create a credible employee relations function and deal with a backlog of complex cases
  • Conducting investigations into complex ER situations and providing tailored and pragmatic recommmendations
  • Supporting organisations in coming to negotiated settlements with senior staff

We have worked with clients to develop their HR function and structure to meet the needs of the organisation and the employment legislative framework in which they operate.

We have ensured that policies are compliant with legislation and best practice, that individuals within the function are skilled and aligned to organisational priorities and equipping managers with skills to manage their staff effectively and legally.

We have used this with private sector and NHS clients.

We have undertaken salary reviews of senior management posts within a range of organisations.

We have identified the key priorities in each role and benchmarked these against published surveys and our own databases to produce recommendations that retain and motivate key executives.

We have successfully worked with public sector and not for profit clients in this area.
