SEAHOUSES, NORTHUMBERLAND

These are my relatives in the WALKER line from 1799 to 1905 who lived in and around Seahouses, Northumberland, England. Seahouses is a small fishing village near Bamburgh and a few miles down the coast from Berwick upon Tweed. They also had links in the 18th century to Lesbury, near Alnmouth, Northumberland.

Other families include GOLD (moved to Newcastle upon Tyne); FENDER; NORRIS (moved to Blyth); CUTHBERTSON; JAMIESON, MARSHALL (moved to Alnwick) and VASS.

Thanks to my sister Liz, I have been able to tie in many of the Walker families living in 19th century Seahouses as relatives of Edward. Please see:

the descendants of John Walker and Phillis Fender
