BR Mark
1 bogie second class gangwayed tourist open (TSO) carriage, number W4762

BR Mark 1 open second class carriage W4762 as delivered to Foxfield in
2002 W4762 was built by BR at its carriage works at York in 1957 to diagram
93 on lot 30375 and latterly ran on the Western region. It was acquired
July 2002 in an exchange with the East Lancashire Railway in 2002, for
Mark 2 SO vehicle 5241 which had a lower seating capacity. W4762 had been
repainted in BR rail blue and grey while in preservation, but was repaired
and repainted in BR lined maroon at Foxfield in summer 2003. For
