Choosing a secondary school for one's child can be a bewildering if not traumatic experience for some parents. To choose a school that will meet the needs of your child is one of the most crucial decisions you will have to take. As a parent myself I am only too aware both of the difficulty and importance of that decision. Different schools appear to offer a variety of attractions to be taken into consideration when making a choice. However, only a Catholic school would claim to offer an education interpreted in the light of faith and the gospel message of Christ. For All Saints education means the formation of the whole person, spiritual and moral as well as intellectual , physical, personal and social. It means that those virtues and values cherished and taught in Catholic homes are supported and developed by like minded teachers within a caring community. My central purpose is to lead an effective team of teachers motivated to deliver a high quality education that meets the needs of our children. Thus providing every pupil with the opportunity, encouragement and support to realise his or her potential. This means a committed professional staff, high standards and expectations, firm discipline and a respect for the individual. This web site will give you some insight into the way we work together and will highlight a wide range of opportunities we offer both within and beyond the classroom. It also reveals something of the spirit which permeates our community. Young people can only thrive when they have a sense of belonging and of challenge. All Saints provides this through our understanding of community whilst simultaneously challenging our pupils to strive for the highest standards both in their learning and personal lives. We extend to you a warm welcome and an invitation to be partners with us in your child's education. Our web site is not exhaustive and, therefore, if you wish to visit us at any time please do not hesitate to telephone my secretary to arrange a suitable appointment. Yours sincerely, M.
