Naming System for LCH
LCHa This group of children have typical lissencephaly with a mildly small
cerebellum.
LCHb This group of children have typical lissencephaly with a small brainstem
and very small cerebellum. Also known as Norman Roberts syndrome
LCHc This group of children usually don't survive to term
LCHd This group of children have severe lissencephaly with unusally small
brainstem and cerebellum
LCHe This group of children have a change in severity of lissencephaly from front to
back with a small cerebellum
LCHf This group of children are similar to group d but with agenesis of the
corpus callosum
