Naming System for LCH
LCH-A This group of children have typical lissencephaly with a mildly small
cerebellum.
LCH-B This group of children have typical lissencephaly with a small brainstem
and very small cerebellum.
LCH-C This group of children usually don't survive to term
LCH-D This group of children have severe lissencephaly with unusally small
brainstem and cerebellum
LCH-E This group of children have a change in severity of lissencephaly from front
to back with a small cerebellum
LCH-F This group of children are similar to group D but with agenesis of the
corpus callosum
