Dear Colleagues, 

At our Regional Officers meeting held on 4^th December 2007 we made the recommendation that Sub Committee’s from the Regional Committee regularise meetings, at 4 per year, hold AGM’s at roughly the same time to allow the Sec/Chair to attend Regional Committee ex-officio and also to plan out the dates of the meetings for the year at the start of the year in order to avoid short notice of meetings and/or late cancellation which should assist in building up attendances. 

In light of that numerous meetings have been arranged and I list them below as advance notice to Branches:

 

15^th January                                                       Midlands Regional Committee AGM

 

25^th January                                                       Regional ULR AGM

 

11^th February                                                     Equality Officers AGM

 

13^th February                                                     Regional Women’s Committee AGM

 

18^th February                                                     West Midlands Region Political Committee

 

22^nd February                                                     Regional Youth Committee

 

The Retired Members Regional Council held its AGM on 8^th January and I am waiting for confirmation of the East Midlands Political Committee meeting date. 

The times and venues for the meetings will be advised when the relevant committee send out its agenda and in addition the meetings for the rest of the year should be mapped out at the AGM’s above so they are fixed in the diary to assist Branches. 

Please advise your relevant Branch Officers of the meetings above so release can be arranged as soon as possible.
