These were the years of Safety Pins and Punks, Glam Rock and Motown.  As Luke Sky Walker and Han Solo battled against the forces of evil, John Travolta disco danced.  We tottered around in platform shoes with flared jeans, Afro perms and open neck shirts, hot pants, boob tubes and lip gloss.
