Welcome....

Field House is a listed Georgian building offering charming, spacious accommodation in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.  Situated in its own mature grounds close to the canal town center where you will find a variety of excellent restaurants, cafes and wine bars to tempt your pallet.

Bedrooms, traditionally furnished,  are warm with candlewick or damask covers. All are centrally heated and fully equipped with all the essentials for a relaxing stay such as CTV, tea and coffee facilities and en-suite options.

Easily accessible from the motorway network, Field House is ideal for visiting local attractions - Alton Towers, Wedgwood, Shugborough, the Potteries, the Peak District and many more.  For more details on the surrounding area visit our page Attractions.

Alternatively, you may just wish to come for a peaceful time away from it all or simply to take a break in your journey - perfect for those heading north of the border.

AA 3 DIAMOND RATING

As a family home Field House is occupied by Robin and Cindy who you are sure to meet whilst either Full English or Continental breakfast is served overlooking the gardens. You will find copies of the National Geographic jostling with Lloyd George’s War Memoirs and tomes on diversional therapies -  intimating Cindy’s interests.  Robin is an extrovert retired pottery artist who still loves to paint and passes time gardening amongst ginkgo, copper-beach, chestnut, elm and oak trees as the sun streams in. An upright piano stands ready to be played in this cosy, clean and tidy bed and breakfast.
