Discover the Corbières
The Corbières region of France is home to fine wines, spectacular wild scenery, the rich and mysterious story of the medieval Cathars and of course the warm southern sun and the mediterranean coast. You can enjoy all this while staying in our spacious village gîte. Situated between the historic medieval city of Carcassone and the pretty mediterranean town of Narbonne a visit to the gîte allows you to explore the many sites and sounds of the area as well as relaxing on the roof terrace with a glass of wine. The village is a typical wine producing one of the Languedoc with convenient shops, bars and restaurants with many fascinating villages and historic sites nearby. The beaches are just 20-30 minutes away or you can swim in the local rivers. The coast provides oportunities for a variety of water sports and coastal sea trips while the Canal du Midi is available for boating. Golf, swimming, boules, fishing, canoeing, walking and cycling are all avilable nearby. Further afield is the sophistcated city of Montpellier, or you can head of to the Pyrenees and Spain.
