Lin Beattie studied graphic design at The Wrexham School of Art and Design, and Drawing & Painting at The Heatherley School of Fine Art in London, where she was tutored by Suzi Malin.
At Heatherley’s, Lin developed her drawing skills along with experimenting with different kinds of painting medias including, egg tempera, pastels and watercolours. In her recent work she chooses to use acrylic paints or Derwent graphite pencils. She now sells her artwork Internationally and examples of these can be found in various collections around the world, including the UK, Europe, Australia, Canada and the USA.

Throughout Lin’s paintings there is a warm interaction of colour, combined with a clever usage of both detail and minimalism all working together to create the desired atmosphere for each image.
