How to join

Kibworth Target Shooting Club

New members are always welcome.

For non-FAC holders who would like to ‘have a go’ at target shooting, the best way is to attend one of our police approved ‘guest days’. These take place on the first Saturday of every month. You will need to be introduced by an existing club member, or have made a prior arrangement with club secretary at least one week in advance of the guest day you wish to attend. For a £5.00 fee you can try your hand, under one-to-one supervision, with a range of club guns.

Should you wish to join the club, you will be subject to standard police clearance, and then join as a probationary member. There is then a standard induction and training programme to be followed, prior to applying for your own FAC. The fee is £120 for the year. There are no range fees or gun hire charges, although you do pay for ammunition. The membership runs from May to May. Anyone joining between times will pay a reduced pro rata fee. Again, the secretary can be contacted for details.

Existing FAC holders will normally be exempt from the induction programme. They should contact the secretary for further details/information should they wish to join.
