The best thing we can do is forget this result as soon as possible. For 44 minutes we held our own against our visitors but a mistake in last minute of the first half was soon punished.The second half was littered with poor passing, positional sense and defending that led to four further goals. Again the lack of communication was also evident.
One commical moment of note was, after being judged offside, Ironside's centre forward continued to shoot way over the crossbar. Tony the referee told the player "Go and get the ball, boy or you're going in the book". So, tail between legs, off he trudged into the bushes while Tony received a round of applause.
No excuses this week. Our second half performance was just crap.
