In particular, I like the article on building battery packs and the one on using the water method to break in a motor. These articles by Paul Oliver on the glue-it.com web site, chart the construction of the popular Club 500 fun boat, which is raced by many clubs around the UK. Another article from Paul Oliver on the glue-it.com web site. This time he has a go at racing a GT400. This interactive site is intended for R/C cars but has many features that are of interest, including an animation of motor timing, R/C frequency charts, a cell charge time calculator and a race control program download . This is my local club. Southend MBC race Club500 and GT400 boats in Southchurch Park, Southend on Sea, Essex and appear at various events around the Southeast. There is also a very active scale section. Bridlington Model Boat Society Bridlington Model Boat Society in the northeast of England have a membership of over 100 who participate in most model boating activities, these range through scale electric, steam, yachting, fast electric and IC power. Corby and District Model Boat Club Corby and District Model Boat Club from Northamptonshire, UK have a wide range of interests including an active Club 500 racing section. Darlington and District Model Boat Club This boat club from NE England has a very active fast electric section. The MPBA is the National Model Powerboat Club for the UK. Many UK clubs are affiliated to this organisation. Electra is a fast electric racing club based in the south of England. The South West Association of Model Boat Clubs orgainise their own scale and fast electric regattas in the West of England. The Northern Fast Electric Racing Club organise racing in the north of England.
