floating weightless above your lawn
are typing up the stars and the full moon
and I am watching this happen—not alone,
but you are sleeping—and I can't wait until
they get to the part where you wake up
and notice me standing over your bed
with a pillow raised over my head
and moonlight gleaming
on my dry teeth.
