With the reports we had received about The American Spirit Duo we had been looking forward to this night but we were disappointed with all of their three spots. In our opinion the sound was not right and especially in the first set the vocals were very muffled. To be fair the choice of songs was good and ideal for this venue it was such a pity how they came over. Reading reports on this duo from other clubs would suggest this had been a one off night, so we will do our best to see them again when they are next in the area.

   Numbers attending were well down I suspect this may be due to all the other events on this week. Pete Dadd as usual kept the dancers on the floor during the breaks playing the popular dance tunes.
