Our principal consultant, Seán Moran has designed many Water and Effluent treatment plants, in both Municipal and Industrial sectors. He spent a number of years working for some of the best regarded contractors in the UK water industry, before starting in private practice in 1996. Most of the work he carried out prior to starting in private practice was within the municipal sector, but since 1996, most of his experience has been in the private sector.
Seán is extremely experienced in the hydraulic design of all stages of Sewage and Industrial Effluent Treatment, as well as such novelties as the new water gardens at Alnwick Castle, and constructed wetlands. He has acted as a design consultant to Weir Pumps, Invent Water Treatment, Southern Water, Entec, Knoll Pharmaceuticals, Geodelft Environmental, Eli Lilly, Owens Corning, Dalkia, Kingspan, Novartis, BAE, and a large number of other well known companies.
Expertise Limited have available well proven design software to cover all aspects of hydraulic design in water and effluent treatment plants, water features and granular media beds of all kinds. Open and closed channels, culverts, STW inlet works, weirs of all shapes and types, flumes, overflows, pipework and fittings, sand and multimedia filters, gravel beds, reed beds, fountains, free and submerged jets, rills, all have been designed, and the designs proven in practice.
He is a member of the committee of the IChemE Water Subject Group, and is on the I ChemE's Register of Consultants.
