CD NEWS

Neil is currently working hard on his new solo album...
6 tracks are practically complete as we speak.
The CD is going to feature a diverse collection of songs from ballads, pop, rock, dance & musical theatre!
With a release date pencilled in for May it's not too far off now! WATCH THIS SPACE!

Neil has been delighted with all the comments he has received about his recent weight-loss!
Since February he has been visiting the gym every day, and no more pies!! WELL DONE NEIL!

Since mid 2007, work commitments outside of the band meant the duo were increasingly unable to gig together, so vocalist Neil began to perform as a solo act.

By late 2007, the growth in regular bookings for Neil, combined with Mark's other work commitments, sadly means both members of Euphoria have decided the time is right to end on a high.

With an incredible 16 years together, through many ups and downs, Mark and Neil continue to be great friends and have the utmost respect and admiration for each other.

Euphoria leave behind a great legacy of 5 CD releases, a number 1 hit in the Ukranian capital 'Kiev', plus many happy moments shared with thousands of audiences across East Anglia and the UK.

Heading into the future sees Neil continuing to entertain audiences with his solo act, the possibility of Mark gigging on his own, and perhaps EVEN the occasional Euphoria reunion!

The newsletter service will continue as usual but under a different name: 'U4IA Upd8s' becomes 'NE!L !NFO' and will obviously focus on Neil Francis news & gigs.

MESSAGE FROM NEIL

"THE QUEEN'S CHRISTMAS MESSAGE!!!

Hiya loves,
Once again Christmas is upon us, Santa's sacks are at bursting point and the turkeys have got the flu, but enough of the festive banter...

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me through the last few months with my solo career. It has been quite refreshing to belt out new material and has got my creative juices a-flowing again!

Next year is looking great at the moment with summer gigs already booked and the definite release of a new solo CD that will feature a mixture of songs that I perform live, and songs that I have wanted to record for a long time, some pop, some musical, showing very different styles of voice.

There's also the possibility of a second CD that will be a collaboration with my great friend, producer and webmaster David Clifford, who has been a great inspiration and true friend.
We have around a dozen songs already and they have a very distinctive sound, one that I really relate to and can get my teeth into!
How we go about releasing this new collection and the name of it is still under discussion but I'm really proud of these songs and the way that David has written & created them, I hope you'll think the same.

All I can say is that next year is to be a very productive one!

What remains to be said is that I hope each and everyone has a fantastic Chrismas and Happy and prosperous New Year, and hope to see you all soon.

Website updated with a photo gallery, live setlist, and guestbook. It would be really great to see your messages to Neil included!
In the coming months we hope to add much more content including a full biography section detailing Neil's entire history as a performer, plus side-project news, further audio clips, and rare photos as you've never seen Neil before!!!

Although Neil will continue to front Euphoria he is taking on solo work to fill some gaps in their gig schedule due to Mark's other work commitments.
It's well worth checking out one of Neil's solo gigs to hear his stunning new sound system.
