*Please note that we are not breeding American Bulldogs anymore, I keep this website running to help others with their dog's diet and any health and behavioural problems they may have.
We purchased our first American Bulldog, Ripley (Rumble 3rd) in February 2003. Her mother Rommel (JDJ Daize 2nd of RTK) had a large litter of 10 pups. Ripley is a 100% Johnson American Bulldog, I prefer the Johnson type to the standard/performance type as they are more wrinkly and 'bullier'. Growing up we have always had large pedigree dogs in the family and the occasional litter of pups. We are all animal lovers and will not stand for any animal cruelty.
For years I had always wanted a British Bulldog until I saw Rommel and I then researched the breed a lot before buying Ripley. I can honestly say that she is the best dog I have ever owned. Ripley is such a pleasure to have, so good with the children and an excellent guard dog.
Ripley was bred with Clyde (Grant of Topnotch) from BraveHeart Kennels on Sunday 30th January 2005, Clyde's and Ripley's hip scores are the same at BVA 17.
On the date 01.04.05 Ripley produced eight fantastic puppies from this breeding, out of which we kept an excellent boy - named Bubba (Ripley Wrinkles Blue Eyed Bubba).
Unfortunately Bubba has got hip dysplasia but it is a blessing in disguise as I researched into the disease rather than having him put to sleep. Due to my research on HD and the raw feeding diet Bubba doesn't suffer now and is such an excellent dog, he's a real head turner!
I have helped hundreds of people's dogs since with hip dysplasia, joint, arthritis, ligament, behaviour and skin problems.
I'm always here to offer advice on all of the above problems, just call or email me.
My advice is always free and catered for YOUR dog. The advise I give is just what I would do if it were my dog, nothing more nothing less so please do not let it replace any advice you have been given from your vet.
Chevy is our 3rd Bulldog - British this time! She was kindly placed with us by Steve and Liz from RedGeorge Bulldogs. She is gorgeous and such a pleasure to have!
Our dogs mean so much more to us than just a pet as they are our hobby as well, we go to many shows (working and conformation). We would of loved to enter Ripley into the weight pulling shows but unfortunately she does not enjoy it, so we are not going to force her. If you are buying an American Bulldog puppy then PLEASE, PLEASE make sure that BOTH the parents have a hip and elbow score under 20 otherwise your pup may have problems when they are older.
