1: Tied the knot at the Ritz-Carlton, Montreal, on March 15,
1964. Divorced June 26, 1974 after a forty minute hearing in a
Swiss court.
Marriage 2: Nuptials at Chobe Game Reserve, Botswana, in 1975.
Less than ten months later on July 29, 1976, a judge in
Port-au-Prince granted them a divorce. Taylor commented at the
time: "I love Richard Burton with every fibre of my soul.
But we can't be together. We're too mutually destructive."

in a Dublin registry office in 1959. Twenty years later (1979),
they were divorced in London.
