Ian And Dom Joly get up to some monkey business..Again.
Reported on Ian Brown Online :
Ian
Brown reunited with Dom Joly last night on the TV comic's forthcoming series,
"This Is Dom Joly". Ian and band performed 2 songs live in the studio,
"Gravy Train" and "FEAR", and the programme is set to go
out on BBC in September 2002.
After the show, Ian "borrowed" 20 men in monkey suits from Dom Joly
and gatecrashed the Top Of The Pops star bar aftershow party. Ian entered the
party with aforementioned monkeys, they all danced for 2 minutes and promptly
left, leaving a bewildered bar full of stars who had just appeared on Top Of
The Pops. Previously, Dom Joly had directed the video for "Golden Gaze"
in his Trigger Happy TV guise, and Trigger Happy also filmed footage at Ian's
Hammersmith Palais show in April 2000. Later, at Dom Joly's party, Ian was quoted
as saying "I never should have called that first album Unfinished Monkey
Business..."

Stone roses Mojo Magazine feature : On Sale Now.
The much touted Mojo magazine article is in this months ( May Issue ) magazine, out in the shops from April 15th. The article spans over 15 pages, and has a few new photographs, taken from friends personal photo collections. Interesting enough a read, and definately something any self respecting Roses fan should have, but no amazing revelations are to be had, but that said, there are a handful of diamond quotes from the lads.
A definate must have.

Ian Brown Interview in The Guardian
Ian
is interviewed in The Guardian supplement 02/02/2002.
"I wasn't on stage to be worshipped or for people to look up to me.
I was with the crowd. We started out to finish groups like U2 - that was what
it was all about. And they're still the biggest band in the world, so we failed.
We didn't really do anything, people wore flares for a year or two, d'you know
what I mean?" he laughs. "That's all we did."
