As promised, here is an exclusive picture of John taken recently at the Millennium Dome.

On Saturday 15 April I was at the millennium dome, and luckily happened to meet ex-Stone Roses and Seahorses guitar player John Squire. As you can see from the photo, he now has a beard so I had to look twice to make sure it was him. He was there with his wife and daughter, but I managed to get him on his own for a minute to ask him about his new band. He confirmed the Simon Jones (ex-Verve bassist) was involved, and said that the band will be playing live around the country in about two months. He said that they didn't have a name as yet, so previous rumours that the new outfit would be called either 'Reluctance' or 'Skunkworks' appear to be untrue. He sounded pleased with the way the band was working out, and keen to get out playing to everyone again. Sorry I couldn't find out any more but I didn't want to overstay my welcome. I got an autograph and a couple of photos which certainly made my visit to the dome worthwhile.
