As
many other paintings, it started happening while on a dream:
I was on a bus and a woman
opposite me was sitting with her legs slightly appart, wearing a short
and straight skirt. The shadow on the tensed gap seemed quite an intense
innuendo, and so the main thing on my head when I woke up that day was
that eight shaped gap, and the painting started as such and grew outwards
into a figure, which had to be oblivious of herself and lure me to
see.
