"azul" oil on canvas 65x54 Barcelona 140499-

I sign my paintings under the name: "azul". This is my very first painting. What I loved most about it is that, when I had just finished it, my friends and flatmates and people that came to visit and saw it, all imagined diferent things in it. The concept of people getting from it something that I didn't intend to put in it thrilled me. It's painted in indigo blue and white. The blue has oxidized with time, revealing brushing patterns where there used to be a uniform surface. It's a little battered, after surviving several of my migrations.
