Whenever
is starts to rain, and people pull out and get under their umbrellas,
their off-limits space becomes so much more obvious. The visual definition
of the intimate space, is enphasized by the shape of the rain around each
umbrella. They are walking inside their own little private dry space.
You can get much closer to people on a sunny day. I
wonder if this has as much to do with the phisical characteristics of
the device or the collective state of mind on a rainy day.
