Toive is the product of the first ever pet passport (all breeds in UK) and in 2007 she returned to Finland  - the land of her conception to meet Fin & Working Trial Ch Lecibsin Kultakuono   puppies born 12th August 2007

Toive is Finnish for Hope, an apt name for a pup who was specially planned from a daring mating using the Pet Passport scheme see arrivals for full details.  As usual I chose the cheekiest pup from the litter to stay at home.  This has advantages in the ring - "what an outgoing personality" a comment from many judges, but quite a difficult pup to live with - so demanding, but loving!

At 5 weeks

& at 3 months	Toive started her show career in the same style as her mother, winning BP at her first outing at Midland Counties Ch show under Jill Peak, and again at LKA under J Burrows. She has also won many open show BP awards.   Top Finnish Lapphund Puppy 2001
At the Finnish Lapphund Club of GB's bred assessment day, where assessments were carried out by Finnish expert Marja Talvitie, her written critique of Toive at 5 months of age was as follows: Very feminine bitch. Very good head. Little long ears. Good neck and topline. Well angulated in front and rear. Little long in loin. Good tail. Moves loose in front, well otherwise. Nice temperament. Lacking undercoat. Very Good
