Echo's
critique from the World Show from Kari Jarvinen of Finland reads:
"Excellent
bitch. Very nice head and expression, nice topline. Very good body and
bone, enough angulation. Excellent coat, moves nicely"
Echo
was the Top Winning Pastoral Import Register for 2001, winning numerous BIR.
On
six of these occasions the BOS award has gone to her
sons, four to E Peikko at Glenchess, one to E Tuukka at Tabanyaruu and one to E
Runo in Bernavia. Echo was also Top IR Working Pastoral in 1997, and has
been BOS many times in the intervening years.

Echo
was the cheeky pup in a litter of eight bred by Sue Dunger, the one with the
white socks! She was a show off at four weeks of age, and is still showing
of now at the age of
nine years!
This is how cute Echo was at 10
weeks of age! |
|
Echo's
show career started with a BIG BANG in July 1994 when after winning BP
Imported Register under Liz Stannard at Paignton, she went onto to win the
first of many BIR (at only 8 months) at National Working Breeds Ch show,
under Zena Thorn-Andrews.

Echo
is a truly fun loving dog, she has a very extrovert nature, and simply
adores her food!!!
She won her first Best Imported Register

Echo has now been shown in
Finland, alongside Finnish bred dogs. At the Winner 2000 show she
was graded, excellent, placed third in Open Bitch (over 7 years) and
given a SA ribbon (worthy of a CAC).
This proves that Echo is of the
correct type and quality, and makes me very proud of her. This
award achieved at the tender age of Eight years! For more details of the
show check out our Winner 2000 page. |
